The Shire of Lake Grace is pleased to announce that the Shire’s Community Funding Program for 2025-2026 is now open.
The program provides financial assistance to not-for-profit organisations within the Shire to support community driven initiatives that encourage community engagement and development, build resilience and wellbeing, and foster pride and leadership.
Funding up to $5,000 is available, including cash and in-kind support. Projects must demonstrate an identified and evidenced community need and align with at least one priority area within the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan (refer to Program Guidelines – Priority Areas).
Please find attached the Community Funding Program Guidelines and Application Form. Applications close at 4.00pm Monday 5 May 2025.

Recipients of the 2024-25 Community Funding Program were:
- Lake Varley & Districts Progress Association: Front Entrance Silo Project and the Varley Community Christmas Party
- Lake Grace Artists' Group: Over 55s Art Program and Creative Kids Holiday Workshops
- Newdegate Football Club: new removable goalposts that meet WACFL standards, and allow for multi-purpose use of the oval
- Lake Grace Playgroup Inc: erection of shade sails and laying of grass and reticulation in front of the clubhouse
- Lake Grace Pingrup Hockey Club: 2 x portable dugouts to be used as seating and shelter during games
