Congratulations to the recipients of Community Citizen of the Year Awards on Australia Day 2025.
The Community Citizen of the Year Awards recognise individuals and organisations making a notable contribution during the year, or to those who have given outstanding service over a number of years to their communities.
Active citizenship and community service contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of a community. Nowhere is this more important than rural communities, where the positive
effects of volunteering, community service, and ‘pitching in’ are keenly felt and noticed.
We celebrate all nominees and recipients as role models who inspire us with their achievements. We will also profile each of our recipients on our Facebook page over the coming days.
We could not celebrate the award recipients without the input of those who took the time to nominate them, so we acknowledge all those who have been involved in any way with nominations.
